About Us
ICU Mechanical was started in 1999 by Pat and Peggy Kiefer, who are very special people who always made it a point to put the customer first!
In 2014, Jerry Canada and Josh Whited purchased the business with the exact same intentions; to make the customer the priority!
Retained from the original 1999 team were Kenny DeLong and Dennis Oland. Mr. Delong has now retired and Dennis is a crucial active member of the team; both are still committed to making ICU the best it can be!
In June of 2014, ICU purchased the service side of CDK Refrigeration, which nearly doubled their size. With combined experience approaching 300 years, there’s not one aspect of this business we don’t know! Our technicians receive ongoing training and certification through CFESA, and also do specific, specialized training through the manufacturers. We pride ourselves on finding the root cause of issues instead of just treating the symptoms.

THANK YOU KENNY DELONG FOR YOUR
YEARS OF SERVICE AND DEDICATION TO THE ICU FAMILY!
Kenneth “Kenny” DeLong is a huge part of the heart and soul of ICU Mechanical. He was one of the original key employees who helped establish ICU as a premier service provider throughout the years. His knowledge in the plumbing industry was a huge asset that enabled ICU to help many customers with their plumbing issues. In addition to his competence in plumbing, he also brought to the table heating, cooling, and refrigeration skills. He was the ideal employee with his vast knowledge on so many different pieces of equipment and possesses a stellar work ethic that never faltered. He was never one to back down from a job and was always there to help.
In his retirement we look forward to him enjoying the fruits of his labor with his wife Susan, whether that be by traveling or just enjoying the days pool-side with the grandkids! We will miss him terribly.
